Alissa Ocampo

My bench is my safe space. In this little world of clutter, it’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Every piece that I make is embedded with my history, tracing back to my Colombian roots, and the love of jewelry making that my grandmother had, and her father before her.

I’m inspired by that old bar that you find on the side of the road, the pair of vintage Levis that were handed down to you, and the loud music that saved you in your adolescence. In my perfectly imperfect world is the mess that only I understand, where Dama de Malla comes to life in the form of metal and stone. This is my lil slice of heaven. This is it.
